Midwest Championships Results from Lemont:
Division 3
Michiana 22 Lake County Gladiators 19 (Eastern Championship)
Eastside Banshees 26 Cedar Rapids Headhunters 10 (Western Championship)
Michiana and the Eastside Banshees will play for the D3 Midwest Championship and a trip to nationals next month. Michiana and the Banshees both earn promotion to D2. The winner of the Lake County/Cedar Rapids match will also move up to D2.
Division 2
Detroit Tradesmen 45 Rochester Aardvarks 5 (Eastern Championship)
Wisconsin Rugby Club 13 Clinton Muddy River 3 (Western Championship)
Detroit and Wisconsin will compete for the D2 Midwest Championship. Both teams will move on to nationals, next month, and up to Division 1 in the fall. Rochester and Clinton will compete for third place and a trip to nationals next month.

In the autumn of 2007, France will host the sixth Rugby World Cup. The Opening Ceremony at the Stade de France on 7th September will kick-off a six week festival of rugby featuring the top players from all corners of the globe. The tournament’s 48 matches will be played across France with a few key matches also being held in Cardiff and Edinburgh. RWC 2007 will be a unique global sporting event combining the cultural richness of France with the best in world rugby
