Beach Rugby in Milwaukee!!

The Milwaukee RFC will host their 5th Annual Beach Rugby Tournament on July 25th, 2009, at Bradford Beach in Milwaukee.  This Tournament is being held in conjunction with the Bradford Beach Jam (Beach Volleyball, BMX, Dodgeball, MUSIC, Windsurfing, etcetera).  For all the details on the Bradford Beach Jam click here.

 

We will have sand pitches at Bradford Beach, which is located at the intersection of Lincoln Memorial Drive and North Avenue.  We are trying to setup the following Open Divisions:  Men's and Women's, High School Boys' and Girls'.  We will confirm all Divisions after receiving commitments from Teams interested in playing on the sand.

Basics will be: 

• Rosters will be limited to 7 players with 5 on a pitch at a time

  No footgear allowed, socks will be allowed

  Free substitutions

• T-shirts, or Rugby shirts are welcome (torn ones must be replaced). 

• Capt. Meeting @ 10:30
  Games @ 11:00 

Once your Team is registered, a package with more information will be e-mailed to you, or your listed Club contact.

Entry fees for Men’s and Women’s Teams - $100

Entry fees for High School Teams - $50

 

Awards for the top Teams in each Division will be provided. 

 

Come out, enjoy the fun, sun, and prove to all who the bully at the beach really is!!!!!
